06-18 They are tearing down UDA. A couple of weeks ago I walked past Helser Hall - or what was left of it at least - and the facing half of the building was ripped away, cables hanging out of half-open rooms, debris. Suddenly I could see the sky above the building and I was mindful of just how much buildings are objects in the space we inhabit. Usually they just seem to make the space.
