| This is the plateau at the top of the hill the castle is built up around. The hill is the highest point in the city and gives you a lovely view of the top of the city and also, in the distance, the Dolomites (part of the Alps). Yet down at ground level, the hill is so densely treed and surrounded by other buildings, that you can't really see the castle until you've climbed up into it. |
