The following names are taken from the Compotus Rolls of Saint Augustine's Abbey, Bristol, for 1491-92 and 1511-12. The rolls are in Latin, and thus with little exception the given names are all rendered in Latin, often in an inflected form. Many of the bynames, however, are in the vernacular, and so provide insight into late 15th and early 16th C English naming practices.

Where the names have been inflected, I have converted them to their standard nominative forms. I have standardized the capitalization.
